Delete Your Account

IMPORTANT: The Account Deletion process is currently being updated. The steps below may not currently function as described. To delete your account, email your request to privacy@intagly.com.

This page explains how to delete your Intagly account and what happens to your data. It covers the Intagly app on Google Play and the Intagly website. You can delete your account yourself at any time, and you do not need the app to do it.

How to delete your account

In the Intagly app

1. Open Settings, then Account.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Enter your password, type DELETE, and tap Delete my account.

On the web (no app needed)

1. Go to app.intagly.com/DeleteAccount. If you are signed in on the website, you can also open My Account and choose Delete my account.
2. Sign in to the account you want to delete. If you forgot your password, choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page to reset it.
3. Confirm with your password, or with your Google sign-in if you use Google to sign in. Type DELETE and choose Delete my account.

What happens when you delete your account

• Your account closes right away. You are signed out on every device, and the account can no longer be used to sign in.
• Your personal data is deleted within 30 days of your request.
• Deleting your account cannot be undone. To use Intagly again, you will need to create a new account.

What has to finish first

A few things finish before your data is deleted. None of them stop your account from closing, and none of them delay deletion past 30 days from your request.

• Makers: orders you have already accepted must ship. Order offers you have not accepted go to other makers right away.
• Makers: any earnings you are owed are paid on the next regular payout date.
• Customers: orders that are already being printed will still be delivered.

What we delete

• Your profile: name, email address, phone number, and date of birth.
• Your password and your sign-in account, including a linked Google sign-in.
• Saved addresses that are not part of an order.
• Profile, store, and banner photos.
• Maker bank account details for payouts, after your final payout.
• Maker printer and filament settings and store listings.
• Chats that never had a paid quote, including their messages and files.
• In other chats, your messages and files, except the quotes, statements of work, and invoices that form part of a payment record.
• 3D files you uploaded that are not part of an order.
• Device notification tokens and activity logs, such as IP address and device type.

What we keep, and for how long

Some records must be kept by law or to protect our community. They are stored apart from your profile, with your name and contact details removed wherever the record allows, and they are never used for marketing.

• Orders, payments, quotes, and invoices, including the shipping address on each order: kept for 7 years for tax and accounting, then anonymized.
• Maker payout records: kept for 7 years for tax and accounting.
• Maker tax ID (Social Security or Employer Identification Number): kept only if we filed a 1099 tax form for you, until 4 years after the last one, then deleted.
• Prohibited-file records: a digital fingerprint of any file that broke our Prohibited Items Policy, kept so the same file cannot be uploaded again. The fingerprint contains no personal information.
• A record that your account was deleted, with no name or contact details.
• Backups: copies in our backups are removed as backups expire, within 35 days.

Our payment processor (Stripe) and shipping providers keep their own records of the transactions they handled, under their own policies. We also ask our support and messaging providers to delete your data.
